We had such a great Thanksgiving this year. We spent the week in Utah and yes, evan Shane came along. We spent lots of time visiting with family and I had fun doing a few photo shoots during the week too. http://jessicabrunsonphotography.blogspot.com/
Friday we went with the Brunson's to cut down their Christmas trees (in Utah). The kids loved it and Serenity kept asking if we could get one for us and take it home to California. I did find a tree farm close-by (in Etiwanda) so we are planning on cutting down our own tree on Saturday when Shane gets back from Baltimore.

David wanted to show everyone how macho he was, so he carried Gwen's tree over his shoulder instead of dragging it. Eric couldn't let his "little brother" show him up, so he had to carry his tree too.

We love cutting trees down, but our experience this year was "hunting" our Christmas tree. There is a post about it on our blog if you need more details.
So fun! We've never done that. I guess we need to try that sometime.

Yay! I'm glad you got to go to Utah for Christmas and be all together with your families.
My cousin's family also shoots down their tree. Then they decorate it with sugar cookies and when the holiday is over, they shoot the cookies.
We just pull our tree out of the box. :)
