Snow Much Fun

We spent Thanksgiving in Utah this year and the kids were thrilled to see snow again. Jared and Serenity had a snowball fight while Shane scrapped the snow off the car. (if you look close enough, you can see the snowball Jared threw right next to Serenity's head, just about to hit her in the face)

Serenity kept asking if she could make a snow angel. It took some convincing to get her to fall back onto the ground, but she finally did and then she just laid there not sure what to do next. It seems funny that she's 6 years old and didn't know how to make a snow angel.

Secret Sledding Spot

When we were in Utah the Smith's invited us to go sledding with them on New Year's Day. We went up to our family's secret sledding spot (behind the old St. Benz Hospital in Ogden). The kids had a blast!

Snow

We had such a great time with my family for Christmas. Jared, Serenity and myself followed them back to Utah on Saturday. (Shane will be in Baltimore and flying to Utah Thursday Night). It snowed on Sunday and the kids were anxious to get out and play.

Sunday afternoon we went to Grandma Gwen's house (Shane's mom). The kids LOVE to jump on her trampoline. It was covered in ice and snow, but that didn't stop them from getting in a few slippery bounces.

Shoreline Trail

The Saturday before Easter we hiked a little bit of the Shoreline Trail with Christy, Elizabeth, Jenelle & Charley. Most of the trail was covered in a foot or more of snow, so it was slow hiking. But we enjoyed being outside in the crisp air.
