What Is This Thing That Men Call Death?
Words by Gordon B. Hinckley, Music by Janice Kapp Perry

What is this thing that men call death,
This quiet passing in the night?’
Tis not the end, but genesis
Of better worlds and greater light.
O God, touch Thou my aching heart,
And calm my troubled, haunting fears.
Let hope and faith, transcendent, pure,
Give strength and peace beyond my tears.
There is no death, but only change
With recompense for victory won;
The gift of Him who loved all men,
The Son of God, the Holy One.

1 Year

1 year ago we said goodbye.
Warren Charles Ludlow
Born February 16, 1981
Died June 19, 2007
Warren loved being outdoors. He taught me how to rockclimb and he went with Shane and me on my first backpacking trip, 2 days in the slot canyons of Buckskin Gulch. He taught me woodworking and photography, and helped me pick out my first "real" camera, a Nikon, of course. He was always smiling and making everyone laugh; I will miss that the most.

Celebration of Mourning

Ice candles

Our tears are flowing;
The ice is melting;
We burn the ice candles for you.
Memories of you remain,
So very bright and true.
Forever... brother, full of laughter;
Father, kind and dear;
Son, helpful and obedient;
Husband, loving and sincere;
To our dear and loving friend,
Happy Birthday Warren,
God be with you til we meet again.
Love Always,
your sister
