Blessing Outfit

My mom loves heirloom sewing and she does such a great job, so I asked her to make Jake's blessing outfit for me. It turned out great and he looked so handsome. I finally got some time over the weekend to take pictures of Jake in his little suit. I was getting worried that it wouldn't fit anymore, he weighs 12 lbs. now! Luckily he could still squeeze into it. He's started smiling alot now, so I was hoping I would get some nice pictures.......he decided to be a big grump instead.

Little Brother

Little brother is 1 month old!

I tried to take some photos of the kids today.....it didn't go so well.....the two boys being major grumpy. So here are a few pics from our 5 minute photo shoot.

Adoption Day Comming Soon!

We found out today that Serenity's adoption will be finalized this month. What a fun surprise!

Snow Princess

Snow Princess??? Yep, that's what Shaunna looked like coming out of the temple in her white dress and cape (complete with muff). Friday was Zack & Shaunna's sealing (my brother and sister-in-law). Fields of Sunflowers

I have really been enjoying my 5 mile run/walk lately (except the really, really hot days) and the other day I couldn't help but notice all the sunflowers along the foothills. I can't believe how many there are. One of the things I love about Utah in the summer is all the sunflowers and seeing so many made me a little homesick, it also made me want to get out and take some pictures. My friend Bethany's daughters were nice enough to be my models. Thanks Amanda and Noami.

Garden Park Chapel

Before we left Utah I had some fun doing a photo shoot with Jenelle and Charley at the Garden Park Chapel. Shaunna came along too. It was a fun girls day out. We started out shopping for new clothes, which Charley didn't like at all. She threw such a fit when we tried on her new clothes that we didn't dare take them off...we carried her to the registered and the whole store had a good laugh as our clerk rolled Charley this way and that as she scanned all the price tags. Next we headed up to Garden Park Chapel and ended the day with lunch at Einstein's bagels.
