"I'm just pre-kidding"
Today while Serenity and I were in the car.
Serenity: I'm hungry. I'm really, really hungry.
Jessica: We're on our way home, I will make you some lunch in a few minutes when we get back.
Serenity: Well....can I have some gum then?
Jessica: No.
Serenity: Why?
Jessica: Your going to eat lunch in a few minutes when we get home.
Serenity: I don't want any lunch, I'm not hungry....I just want gum.
Jessica: You told me you were hungry.
Serenity: I was just pre-kidding!
Pre-kidding = pretending + kidding (just in case you didn't know)

A Day Out and About
We spent Saturday afternoon at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. On our way Jared took this picture (out his car window) One of the MANY fires blazing in Southern California right now.

We always stop by the "Old Town Root Beer Shop" in Temecula, it makes a great half-way point stop.

Jared loves photography and he is always asking to use my camera. Since I'm such a "nice mom" I let him have the camera on our safari tram tour so he could take pictures of all the animals.

My favorite animals at the park, the cheetahs!

Veteran's Day
Veteran's Day was a "no school" day for the kids. I spent a little bit of the morning taking some photos for the Alo's. http://jessicabrunsonphotography.blogspot.com/ Then the kids and I spent the rest of the day at Disneyland.

Halloween Night
We spent Halloween night with the Dudley's, the Humphrey's and the Gibson's. For Jared, it's not Halloween without mom's crazy Halloween dinner. This year we had: Spaghetti and Eyeballs, Bones, Chilled Fish Eggs, Pickled Caterpillars, Bat Eyes, Boiled Squid, Green Slime, Witches Brew, Pirate's Plunder and an assortment of Monster Munchies. After dinner we took all the kids trick or treating. We tried to get a picture of the five of us in our costumes....this was the best we could get. Paris was a dragon, Jared was a dragon night, Serenity was a princess, Jessica was a maiden, Shane was a peasant.
