Darn those sicky eyeballs!

Jared brought home a sticky eyeball from somewhere on Wednesday. I HATE sticky toys.... Naturally the eyeball goes missing somewhere in the entry-way. Jared told Shane it was stuck on the window, so after Jared left for school Shane stacked up some furniture to reach the entry-way window. It was no where to be found. Lucky for us, my kids are great tattlers. Serenity let us know she saw Jared throw the eyeball and knew right where it was...on the ceiling, of coarse! The ceiling is over 17 feet tall in the entry-way so Shane's brilliant idea was to stand on the stairs on throw dog toys at the ceiling and try and knock it down. At first I thought this was a bad idea, but then when the chandelier started to sway I thought, wow....I hope he ends up breaking that ugly chandelier so I can get a new one. No such luck! Shane ended up getting the pool net instead. That didn't work either, though. It was stuck tight.....this is definitely the stickiest, sticky toy ever! Shane gave up and it's still there.

Do you have the strange feeling that you're being watched?

Tyler had sticky worms when we lived in California and he thought it was the funniest thing to throw them up onto the ceiling and see how long they'd stay. Well, one stayed and stayed and when it finally came down, it left a colored stain in the shape of the worm. Crazy!

That is funny because it is not my house! I bet (with a sad face) it will be gone before we come in December!

Don't worry Shaunna it will still be there. I don't think it is ever coming down!
Leann, as far as the stain, I was successful in sliding the eyeball a few inches and it left a nice stain where it had been. Sshhh! don't tell our landlords!

That's hilarious! It will be a great conversation piece for everyone who walks through your door!

By the way, I've been trying to decide where to go for family pics, and I absolutely LOVE the pics you took of your family on the beach. So if you could just fly in for a Saturday shoot at the Great Salt Lake, that would be fantastic. Thanks so much.

But seriously, do you have any recommendations for our neck of the woods?
