The Venice Canals

In 1900 the town of Venice, California was founded with a 20 mile network of canals and waterfront homes (the modern-day Venice Italy). Not many years later most of the canals were filled in to make roads for the horseless carriage. Today, all that is left is a few miles of waterway near the infamous Venice boardwalk. There are 14 small bridges that span the rectangular canal area and make a picture perfect, not to mention romantic sunset stroll.
Unfourtunately for us we had Jared with us and it was already passed sunset. He was cold and grumpy so we only strolled a few minutes (just long enough to snap a few pictures :-)

The pictures turned out too dark to see how pretty it is, but there was just enough light to see Jared's grumpy face.
