Friday Jared's class went on a field trip to San Bernardino University's Californian Native American Day festivities. He had a great time and learned alot....but I'm only mentioning it because I thought it was funny that his "Indian experience" was on the same day we went to see the "Cowboys".
Friday night I took the kids to the Sheriff's PRCA Rodeo up at Glen Helen Fairgrounds. I wasn't sure if they would like it, boy was I wrong.....they both LOVED it! Jared kept saying' "I love this!" and "what will they do next?" They thought the rodeo clown was hilarious and Serenity decided she wants to be a cowgirl when she grows up.

WOW! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I'mglad.
First she wants a horse for her birthday, now she wants to be a cowgirl. What did we get ourselves into?
That's fun about the Cowboys and the Indians! I bet the kids will remember the rodeo for a long time.
If you guys come out during the summer Zack and I will try and find a rodeo to go to. There are a bunch around the 24th! We might even be able to find a real cow/bull for Jared to ride!
Hey there! It's great to hear from you! Dave's terrible about being in touch, but I'll tell him to check in anyway. Man, you guys sure do some exciting stuff! What cute kids! Your pics are so beautiful too. Take care, Lyn
