Teaching Jake to "be appropriate"

Teaching Jake to "be appropriate".

One of the most common things my kids hear me say is, "that's not appropriate", I say it so much that now that when I ask the kids to "stop doing......" Serenity will add, "because that's not appropriate, right mom". Jake loves to be held....and of course I spoil him and cuddle him every chance I get.....there's just one problem... he likes to have something in his hand, which usually ends up being the neck of my shirt. (this is a family blog so there's no picture of that) Needless to say, it's "inappropriate". So we are teaching Jake to be appropriate by having him cuddle with his snuggly instead.

We should have taught Matthew to be appropriate. I keep in binkies in my cleavage, because it is a good holding spot. Anyway- he is so usto them being there that he checks every other woman that holds him to see if they have a binkie for him.

Aww, how sweet!

(Colin is constantly pulling and tugging at my clothes to make them modest. I don't know why it drives me crazy other than it's usually while I'm lying in bed half asleep or fixing my hair--you know, times when he doesn't need to be my modesty police.)
