Thompson Creek Trail

Santa brought Jared a mountain bike for Christmas this year and whenever he gets the chance he loves to go riding with his dad. This weekend we took a vote to see what we would do for our "family adventure". Going for a bike ride won. We headed to Claremont, to the Thompson Creek Trail. It's a great family-friendly ride. Short and paved with a dirt trail along the side, with lots of trees and flowers and a park half-way down the trail.
Jared loved riding super-fast down the hills and on the dirt trails.

Serenity did a great job. We rode to the park and had a picnic lunch (it is downhill the whole way to the park). The ride back was a little tough for a little 4 year old, but she kept going (with some help from Shane). Of coarse we always take Paris along too.

I took Paris and Serenity home; Shane and Jared rode the trail again, this time to the end of the trail. (we took two cars).

Bikes! I have not gone on a bike ride since before we moved into your parent's house. I used to take Zack's and ride our old neighborhood when I worked part time. The weather looks so nice there. It makes me jealous! I am looking at some snow right now! when is Jared's spring break?

You guys are so cool!!! Looks like another fun family adventure. Our last family adventure was to Golden Corral for FHE. We decided, after we totally over ate, that our FHE lesson should have been on moderation...oops.
