We had a great Valentine's weekend. Shane and I went out on Thursday. Serenity and Jared had Friday off school, but not me. So Shane took the kids to the movie while I was at class. Saturday we headed out to Little Corona Del Mar (it's one of our favorite beaches). There is a small farmer's market there on Saturdays, and its becoming tradition for us to stop and pick up homemade tamales. So yummy!
It turned out to be a beautiful, warm day. The kids had fun looking through the tide pools.
We found some sea anemone and some bright purple sea urchin. Shane took one out of the sea urchins out of the pool so Serenity could see it. She was terrified of the spikes and thought it was going to bite her.
Jared had alot of fun catching crabs. He caught about 40 small hermit crabs and a few big crabs and he only got pinched once!

Sounds like a great weekend! Sorry I have not posted anything, it wa a busier week than I thought and I was way tired. And trying to work on homework but I did not get much done....
Not fair, I am tired of the snow! The kids all say hi. We love you.
