Once in the grotto the hike is alot of bouldering. There were some scary spots for Paris, but she was sure a brave girl. There are lots and lots of waterfalls!
The highlight of the Grotto is the underground cavern. This waterfall falls into an enclosed cavern. It was so amazing...the picture doesn't do it justice.

that looks beautiful! I want to try Adams canyon this year with the kids...we will see how that goes. I will have to ask where its at when we get to that point.
Adam's canyon is one of my favorites. There is another trail in that area called the Lakeshore trail or shoreline trail (something like that) anyway it is a better hike for little ones, the trailhead is up by the castle. It connects with Adam's canyon trail. You guys should give it a try, you can even do it when it is a bit snowy still.
