Jared turns 12!!!
Emma's surgery came (January 10th) and went. She ended up being in the hospital 6 days and everything went according to plan. She caught Jake's cold when she got home, but other than that her recovery went well. She is such a strong little trooper and we are so relieved for it to be over.

Gwen stayed with us for the whole month of January. She was here for Jared's 12th birthday and to help with the kids during Emma's surgery. We took her to Brazo's Bend to see the alligators.

Looks like you guys had fun celebrating Jared's birthday. Brazos Bend is one place Zack would like to see when we are able to come visit. We are hoping to come when Sara gets baptized. We will do our very, very best to make it.
